Has anyone performed the engine/airframe STC from Precision Engine (http://precisionengine.home.mindspring.com/2plstc.htm) to upgrade the O-235-C1C? My engine is at the O/H point and I'm considering this mod.

I have talked to Bill (STC Owner) about it and got the basic information and it sounds good but I was looking from input from A/C owners that may have completed this mod.

I can't help at all as I've not done the upgrade you are considering, but can I raise just one little question please? -
You say you are upgrading your "Lyc O-235-C1C".
In my little AA1 I've got the Lyc O-235-C2C. Is this a simple typo or did they really instal C1C's ? If they did, do you happen to know what the differences are? Is one better than the other?

Yes it was a typo. It should have been -C2C
