Does anyone know where I might be able to get the POH/Owner's Manual for an AA1B in electronic format?

Thanks,

-Dj

Heh heh! Smile

I was hoping someone had taken an original POH and scanned it into a PDF file.

Great minds think alike eh?

And here's little old me, sat here in my warm winter woollies, roasting chestnuts on my fire, swigging rum and waiting for spring to come, hoping beyond hope, that you had done some scanning for computer illetrate, nincompoops like myself.
The last time I went for a scan, all I got was a picture of what was left of my brain cell! How the heck do you sneak a book past the nurses AND change over the pages without the battleaxes seeing you?

The POH I have for my AA1B is in pretty rough shape. I could scan it, but I'd rather have a much better example as a source. If someone has one that I could borrow, I'd be glad to do the scanning.

Sorry - I'm afraid I've only got the AA1 Yankee edition

I posted the same request for the AA5A recently on the GG. No luck there either. I have a paper copy, so it's not like I don't already have one. I just want an electronic version for my home computer.

Idea Fletchair sells new paper ones. I think I paid around $11 for my spare one when I bought my plane. I guess you could buy a new one and scan that.

Or I could just scan my existing one... Which I would do if I was motivated enough... I'm not though... That's what I was looking for one already in PDF format...

I have the Grumman American Owner's Manual for the "Model AA-1B Trainer and Tr2" in pdf format if you haven't already found a copy.

It's not a "perfect" rendition as I just scanned my copy for you. However, my copy is dang near perfect for a 35-year old manual ... no marks or creases!

(This is Grumman publication AA1B-137-3-RAND-8000-5/75)
